If you have a desktop
or laptop computer that
has outgrown it's
usefulness to yourself
or any one else you
know, consider donating
it to Paramount Mint.
Doing so is benenficial
to the environment and
the local community. You
can feel good about
doing your part in
expanding digital access
to classrooms and low
income families.
The computers that
Paramount Mint receives
are reformatted with
Linux Mint and provided
back to the community
for a $40 donation ($20
for educators). It takes
about 2-4 hours to
prepare the computer
with all the most recent
Mint updates.
All data on the
computer is deleted when
reformatting to Linux
Mint, but for extra
peace of mind you may
feel free to use any one
of the following
recommended programs to
ensure the data is
unrecoverable:
- DBAN
- ERASER
We will have to turn
down computers suffering
from hardware issues,
such as faulty RAM or
hard drives. Contact us
